 NATHIFA has loved music from very early years and has always been supportive of and a big participant in Grenadian and Caribbean culture. She has been a member of Spice Island Youth Quake and Heritage Theater in Grenada, and currently sings with Quake USA Cultural Organization in NY. She also spent the years 1997 to 2000 in varying roles with the then DYC Calypso tent from Keyboard player to back vocalist. In 2005 she has decided to step out as a solo artist. Make no doubt this is just the tip of the iceberg, as this young cultural ambassador is ready to take music by storm.
She has competed creditable in the Grenada Carnival Calypso Preliminaries judging in NY with the OP Holder House of Fire Calypso Tent. Armed with the critique from this experience, she has gone one to successful burst through the Grenada National Soca Monarch Preliminaries, through the Semi Finals, to place in the first 10 finalists. An applaudable feat for a first timing competing in a pack off roughly 150 veteran artists.
She has also performed favorably alongside veteran Grenadian Artists such as Tallpree, Randy Isaac, Inspector and other new comers to the art and as part of the slected artists for production by promoters such as Cash Money Enterntainment.
